Terms you need to know
- Launch angle
- The angle at which the ball leaves the clubface, measured relative to the ground.
- Ball speed
- The speed of the ball in mph as it leaves the clubface.
- Backspin
- Rotational spin of the ball in revolutions per minute as it leaves the clubface.
- Swing speed
- Speed of the clubhead in mph just before ball impact.
